It was all smiles at Mercer County Skating Center Tuesday night where Trenton Devils players spent a fun-filled evening of skating with Special Olympics New Jersey athletes.
The nearly 40 Special Olympics athletes and their families who were in attendance (despite the rainy weather) spent the night skating with Devils players, getting autographs and pictures, and taking short breaks from the ice for hot chocolate to warm up.
Special Olympics New Jersey is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization that provides sports training and athletic competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. To learn more about Special Olympics New Jersey, please visit www.sonj.org.
