Lowell, Mass. - The Lowell Devils have recalled defenseman Matt Cohen from the Trenton Devils of the ECHL. The announcement was made by Lowell and Trenton Devils' General Manager Chris Lamoriello.
Loaned to Trenton on October 23, Cohen posted a goal and two penalty minutes in two games with the ECHL Devils. The 23-year old has appeared in eight games for Lowell, while spending most of the last two seasons with Trenton. A 6-1, 200-pound New York City-native, Cohen has totaled 18 goals, 52 assists and 146 penalty minutes in 141 games with Trenton and was named an American Conference All-Star during the 2007-08 season.
Cohen was a four-year letterman at Yale University where he skated in 118 career games and also served as team captain his senior season.
